New Generation of Wastewater Treatment

Today, municipal and industrial customers are demanding ?exible and economical wastewater treatment processes with minimal operational and maintenance effort. To meet these demands, Aquabiotec has developed several standardised and modular solutions for high-grade wastewater treatment: AQUABIOflux 3.0 and AQUABIOdom. These solutions are based on long-term practical experiences and have been successfully operational in numerous applications for more than 15 years in different industries and municipalities.

AQUABIO?ux 3.0

The new generation of standardised Biological Aerated Filter (sBAF) for high-grade municipal and industrial wastewater treatment. AQUABIOflux combines biological treatment and retention of suspended solids in one unit, achieving efficient COD/BOD elimination, Nitri?cation, Denitri?cation, Phosphorus Elimination, and removal of Suspended Solids. This technology represents a small reactor volume and a high fixed biomass concentration, requiring minimal operational and maintenance efforts.

AQUABIOdom

A full in-house municipal wastewater treatment plant including mechanical, biological, and sludge treatment according to the latest EU standards. These plants are realized as turn-key solutions characterized by low space requirements and low investment/operating costs. AQUABIOdom consists of modular mechanical and biological units and is available in the range of 1,500 to 10,000 Population Equivalents (300 to 2,000 M³/day). The modern treatment work results in treated water concentrations generally exceeding the official public requirements in terms of BOD, COD, NH4, total N, P-PO4, and SS.
